Exciting News: Ford Integrates Tesla Superchargers into BlueOval Charge Network!

Starting today (February 29, 2024), Ford is enhancing the charging experience for its electric vehicle owners by integrating the Tesla Supercharger network into the Ford BlueOval Charge Network. With a DC Fast Charging adapter, you will be able to fast charge your Mach-E, F-150 Lighting, and e-Transit vehicles at upgraded Tesla Supercharger sites.
This integration allows Ford drivers to access over 15,300 upgraded Tesla Superchargers across the United States and Canada using the DC Fast Charging Adapter (CCS to NACS adapter). To support this transition, Ford is offering a limited-time opportunity for owners of Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning, and e-Transit to reserve a complimentary DC Fast Charging Adapter.Â
The reservation process is now open, and closes on June 30, 2024.  Owners can register to receive their free adapter by enrolling in the BlueOval Charge Network through their Ford account on ford.ca, or through their FordPass app. Adapters will be shipped on a first-come, first-served basis starting in June 2024. It's important to note that only one adapter per vehicle identification number (VIN) is allowed.

To ensure seamless charging at upgraded Tesla Superchargers, Ford owners must enroll in the BlueOval Charge Network and enable Automatic Software Updates for their vehicles. This enables the convenient "Plug & Charge" feature, allowing for hassle-free charging without the need for additional authentication. With this integration, Ford is expanding accessibility to fast charging infrastructure, providing an enhanced driving experience for electric vehicle owners across North America.
