The Bronco is Back

2021 Ford Bronco Interior and exterior design

Possibly the best thing about the 2021 Ford Bronco is that each series has been designed around a different type of adventure. This makes it easier than ever for you to select the one that works best for your lifestyle. You can then customize it with hundreds of Ford accessories to make it your own. The Bronco will help you experience all the excitement the wild has to offer with the benefit of removable doors and roof. Choose between 2-door and 4-door options as well as two engines - the standard 2.3 L EcoBoost with 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque or the available 2.7 L EcoBoost with 310 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Both engines come with 4x4 and offer the class-exclusive 7-speed manual transmission or an available segment-first SelectShift 10-Speed automatic transmission. Choosing the 7-speed manual will get you a unique crawl ratio of us to 94.75:1.

The Bronco is more than capable of taking on the toughest of trails thanks to the Electronic Shift-On-The-Fly Two-Speed Transfer Case which is the base, part-time system offering three modes plus Neutral. Get mechanically locked four-wheel-drive-power in 4H and 4L and flat towing in Neutral. The Advanced 4x4 System features a 2-Speed Electromechanical Transfer Case that adds an auto mode for automatic on-demand engagement between 2H and 4H. You'll get optimum performance on all on-road conditions in 4H.

The Classic Jeep Wrangler

Jeep Wrangler 2020 Interior

The Jeep Wrangler retains the classic removable doors and roof, as well as 2-door and 4-door options. What's new for 2021, however, is a new colour called Snazzberry and the 4Xe model which is a plug-in hybrid option. This new 4Xe is powered by a 2.0 Turbo 4-cylinder plus hybrid components for 375 horsepower and roughly 40 km of all-electric range. It's paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and is rumoured to be even more capable thanks to the instant torque of the electric motor.

All other Wrangler models come with the standard 3.6 L V6 engine with 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. There's also an available eTorque mild hybrid system for improved fuel economy and either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission. Both the 2-door and 4-door styles offer a 2.0 L 4-cylinder engine with 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque while the 4-door also offers a 3.0 L diesel V6 with 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. Both of these options are only available with the 8-speed automatic.
