2025 Ford Bronco Gets Updated B&O Sound System

The 2025 Ford Bronco continues its evolution since its 2021 debut, with the latest updates making this model year arguably the most significant yet. While it hasn't received a full mid-cycle refresh, the 2025 Bronco features major changes, including a reshuffling of trims and the addition and removal of several features, signaling Ford's ongoing commitment to enhancing the iconic off-roader.

One of the standout changes in the 2025 model is an upgrade to the B&O sound system. Now available with 12 speakers (up from 10 in previous models), the system also benefits from improved speakers, a new subwoofer, and a higher-output amplifier. This upgraded audio system is offered as part of the Lux Package on the Outer Banks and Badlands trims, while the new Stroppe Edition and Raptor trims come with it as standard.

In terms of trim lineup, the 2025 Bronco sees the return of the Base trim, which had been absent in the previous year. The new Stroppe Edition and Free Wheeling Package make their debut, while models such as the Wildtrak, Everglades, Heritage Limited, and Black Diamond series have been discontinued. However, the Black Diamond name now appears as part of a new optional package. Other notable updates include the introduction of Electric Brake Boost as standard on the turbocharged 2.3L I-4 EcoBoost engine, ambient footwell lighting across the entire lineup, and a standard heated steering wheel on the Outer Banks, Badlands, and Raptor trims.

The 2025 Bronco also brings several new technology features, such as the standard 12-inch digital gauge cluster and the availability of the FITS system, which was previously exclusive to the Ford Maverick. Additionally, Bronco Badlands models can now opt for the HOSS 3.0 suspension, improving the off-road capabilities of the vehicle. Other updates include relocated rear HVAC vents in four-door models with the 10-speed automatic transmission, the removal of grab handles in most trims, and the elimination of the wireless charging pad. While pricing remains mostly unchanged, the Base trim sees a price increase of just over $3,000 USD compared to the 2023 model.
